The output of LEALI S.p.A. in the rolling mill of Roč Volciano, is mainly based on rebars, that is, the first and typical product on which the industrial development of the Leali Group grew and developed. The works is in Roč Volciano, about 30 km from Brescia and about 15 km from Odolo.
Leali S.p.A., at the beginning owned a share in this mill, and in 1987 the whole property was taken over. At the time, some previously planned remodeling was performed and later on, in 1995, the rolling range was extended from 6 to 32 mms with Tempore technology, and capacity was considerably increased (over 400.000 tons per year). For specific exacting building needs in civil engineering structures of big dimensions, (such as hydroelectric power plants, nuclear power plants, dams, bridges, viaducts etc.) with microalloyed steel, sizes up to 57,3 mm and over can be produced (ASTM Standard A 615). The bars are delivered in standard lengths, or, if specifically requested, in different lengths, though not over 18 metres
